研究活動

現在の研究対象:
偏微分方程式及びその関連分野
非線型分散型方程式の解について研究している。
この方程式は非線型波動を記述する諸概念の総称として知られており、物理学・工学分野に於ける重要なモデルであるが、数学的にも大変刺戟的な研究対象である。具体的モデルとして、非線型シュレーディンガー方程式や非線型クライン・ゴルドン方程式等が挙げられる。
最近は特に、「解が時間大域的に存在するか？存在する場合どの様な関数に漸近するか？存在しない場合いつ頃発散するのか？」という基本的問題と、「既知である散乱データを用いて未知である非線型項を探し出す」散乱の逆問題を平行して考究している。問題の難易度は非線型項の設定に依存し、未解決部分も多々ある。
考究の際には常微分方程式、調和解析学、自己共役作用素の理論、擬リーマン幾何学等の知識が有用になる。しかし何よりも、地道な計算で培われる経験値が重要と思われる。
