Probability and Statistics

Studies and research activities for Mathematical Statistics, Stochastic Analysis and Mathematical Programming are developed in the major field of probability and statistics. Mathematical statistics investigates both the theory and applications on statistical inference problems in general and cause-and-effect relations in particular. Comparison between theoretical conjecture and numerical simulation are studied. Stochastic Analysis develops a mathematical model which describes various phenomenon in the Physics, Biology, Economics etc. Interesting relations on the integrable system are discussed. In a field of Mathematical Programming, we will concentrate the topics on a relation between information and decision. Then wider varieties of optimization problem are discussed. Also by Mathematical modeling, these problems are studied as an uncertainty structure.
